1.Integrate with Instagram

(1) First, click Add Instagram Account (Note: If you don’t have an Instagram account, you can go to Instagram Help Center to reate Account).

(2) After logging in to your Facebook account, click Continue as (your account name) and check the Instagram business account that needs to be bound.

(Note: In order to use Instagram automation, you’ll need to make sure this account is a business or creator account; If your account has more than 500,000 followers, you must use a business account. If you’re not sure how to switch Instagram to a business or creator account, you can check out the tutorial at the bottom of this document. ）

(3) Check the Facebook page associated with Instagram; If the Facebook page is not linked, the authorization will fail. To learn how to connect Instagram to Facebook, check out the official Instagram guidelines.

(4) Select SaleSmartly to perform the operation (it is recommended to select all) and click Finish.

(5) Click OK will return to the SaleSmartly background, you can refresh the page several times, after the background synchronizes the authorized Instagram account, click the “Enable Account” button, you can use this account to chat and send messages!

Note: If you refresh multiple times, the SaleSmartly backend has not synchronized the Instagram account, and the account authorization may fail.

The reasons for failure can be as follows:

(1) The Instagram account authorized by you is not a commercial account

(2) Your Instagram account is not linked to your Facebook page

If the authorization fails, please find the reason and reauthorize it.

2. How to switch your Instagram account to a business or creator account

① First, go to your account profile, click the “hamburger” icon in the upper right corner of your profile.

② Click on “Settings” > “Accounts”

③ Find the blue font “Get a free professional account” below and click.
