Integrate with WhatsApp

We offer two ways to integrate agencies: YCloud and Twilio. It is recommended that you use YCloud agents for faster access! The integration steps for each type of agency are described below.

1. Integration agent YCloud commercial API number

Please register the YCloud backend first, add WABA/ number through the YCloud backend, and then sync to SaleSmartly:https://www.ycloud.com/console/#/entry/register through the YCloud backend API.

(1)Log in to the background of YCloud

If you have registered a YCloud account, please log in first:https://www.ycloud.com/console/#/entry/login

Open Verify-Getting started to view and copy the API Key.

(2)Fill in the API Key in the SaleSmartly backend

2.Integrated reseller Twilio commercial API number

(1)Agents connect to WhatsApp Business API

Register and log in to the agent. After successfully purchasing a WhatsApp business number on the agent’s website, the number can be connected to the WhatsApp business API normally.

Currently SaleSmartly temporarily supports connecting through Twilio agents, so temporarily explain how Twilio buys and configures a WhatsApp business number.

Twilio agent, register login to buy WhatsApp business number instructions:

① Go to https://www.twilio.com/ to register and log in.

Because the Twilio process has changed a lot recently, you can refer to the official documentation. If you have not bought a number, the process is a bit troublesome. Consult us, and we will try our best to assist you. Refer to the following link: https://www.twilio.com/docs/whatsapp/self-sign-up

When the Twilio account is suspended, you need to reply to the message by email. Relevant guidelines:

② On the ‘Phone Number’-‘Buy a Number’ page of the console, click Buy and follow the prompts to complete the purchase of the number.

③ After purchasing the number, set the number as the sender on the ‘Messaging’-‘Senders’-‘WhatsApp Senders’ page of the console.

  • Click on New WhatsApp Sender, select the purchased number, and follow the instructions for other options.

  • After being added as a sender, it is displayed in the list.

④ Now, you have completed the purchase of a WhatsApp business number connected to the business API.

(2)Integrated into SaleSmartly

① After logging in to SaleSmartly, on the ‘Settings’ – ‘WhatsApp’ page, click on ‘Add WhatsApp Account’, fill in according to the instructions and confirm to get the Webhook URL of the number, and copy the ‘Webhook URL’.

Special Note: See below for access to Twilio information.

How to get Twilio information

  • Account SID: Obtained from the general settings of account management

  • Authorization token: Obtained from API keys & tokens of account management.

② Just paste the ‘Webhook URL’ into the configuration of the agent (Twillo) sender, then you can send and receive messages from this WhatsApp number on SaleSmartly.

  • On the ‘WhatsApp senders’ page, find the number added in SaleSmartly and click Edit Sender to edit it.

  • Select use webhooks, fill in the Webhook URL in Webhook URL for incoming messages, Status callback URL, and click Update WhatsApp Sender.
